Clean Cart Challenge Winners - You Could be Next!

This summer, Waste Management’s new Clean Cart Challenge Prize Patrol will visit Federal Way to reward recyclers. Households, multi-family complexes and businesses will be chosen at random each month. If the Prize Patrol finds that their recycling cart or container contains only acceptable recyclable materials, they’ll win a gift card valued up to $150. So, review the recycling guidelines, check your garbage and recycling containers for the proper materials and get ready to win!

Caroline Pielick (resident) and Christian Faith Center (business) were the two winners in June. Click here to see the photos.

Janey Westcott (resident) and Sherwin-Williams Paints (business) were the two winners in July. Click here to see the photos.

More residents, businesses and apartment complexes will be chosen this summer - you could be next!

Waste Management is also looking for Federal Way’s greenest residents and businesses to share their recycling and waste reduction tips on the Clean Cart Challenge webpage. Please send an email, photos or video depicting the “green” in your life to recyclenw@wm.com.

Learn more about the Challenge and view a full list of what can be recycled by visiting the Waste Management website at www.wmnorthwest.com/cleancartchallenge or by following the challenge on Facebook at www.facebook/cleancartchallenge.
