Recycle Palooza Event & Family Green Fest

Everyone is encouraged to attend the Family Green Fest on May 30! In addition to the exciting Recycle Palooza contest at Family Green Fest, there will be a variety of fun and educational activities for the entire family! Information is updated frequently, so please check back often for new vendors, activities and door prizes.

FREE Kids Activities

FREE Drop-Off
· Bring up to two boxes of old tax and banking documents for free confidential document shredding and recycling, courtesy of Woodstone Credit Union.
· Drop off unwanted or expired medications courtesy of the Federal Way Police Department. All pharmaceutical products will be accepted. Please note that intra-venous solutions, syringes, medical waste, marijuana, methamphetamine or other illicit controlled substances will not be accepted at this event.
·
Got Caps? Bring your unrecyclable plastic bottle caps to the City’s Surface Water Division for use in a large mural.

· A Sustainable Landscape Professional from Earthdance Organics will answer your questions on living outdoors sustainably and feeding your plants organically.

· King County Dirt Alert will provide information about contamination in soil and healthy actions to reduce contact.
