EMPLOYMENT STATUS:      Temporary, Part-Time

SALARY RANGE:                $15.00/hour

NOTE: This is a temporary, part-time position (up to 24 hours/week) with no benefits.



Under the direction of the Economic Development Director, perform administrative supprt and research work related to economic development involving project research; field investigations; preparation of materials; creating and/or updating websites; and other work based on skills and qualifications.


  • Research international trade and relations.
  • Coordinate conferences and forums on a variety of subject matters.
  • Participate on regional team submitting application for US Olympic Trials.
  • Prepare and present Tourism information and related activites.
  • Recruit and retain businesses involved in international trade and organizations engaged in international relations.
  • Conduct research using computer and/or other methods.
  • Prepare and present written reports and oral presentations.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers and videographers for display materials.
  • Phone contact with outside businesses and organizations.
  • Create and update reports as needed.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Economics, Public Affairs, Political Science, or a closely related field. Strong oral and written language skills, graphics, plus strong computer skills.
