EMPLOYMENT STATUS:      Temporary, Full-Time Summer Internship*

SALARY RANGE:                $15.00/hour

*NOTE: This is a Temporary, Full-time Summer Internship with mandatory benefits only.  



Under the direction of the Economic Development Director, perform administrative support and research work related to economic development involving project research; field investigations; preparation of materials; creating and/or updating websites; and other work based on skills and qualifications.


EXAMPLES OF JOB DUTIES: identification, contact and preparation of materials for the recruitment of the following: 

  • Research on international trade and relations.
  • Coordination of conferences and forums on a variety of subject matters.
  • Preparation and presentation of Business Recruitment material and related information.
  • Recruitment and retention of businesses involved in international trade and organizations.



  • Research on computer.
  • Reports, both written and oral.
  • Coordination with graphic designers and videographers work for display materials.
  • Phone contact.
  • Creation and updating reports.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.



Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Economics, Public Affairs, Political Science, or a closely related field. Oral and written skills, graphics, plus strong computer skills.
