Plan Holders List
Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on β€œPosted Projects,” β€œPublic Works,” and β€œCity of Federal Way.” This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders β€œRegister” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the β€œSelf-Registered Bidders List.” Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan for addenda issued on this project. Description
The City of Federal Way, Washington is seeking qualified firms to submit bids to provide street sweeping services to the City of Federal Way on an annual basis.  These services include provisions of all labor and equipment necessary for the sweeping of Federal Way streets including, but not limited to the following approximate centerline miles:
 
1. Major Arterials:  23.24 miles;
2. Minor Arterials:  9.35 miles;
3. Collector Arterials: 50.97 miles;
4. State Routes: 14.04 miles;
5. Residential Streets: 148.17 miles; and 
6. Emergency Call Out:  Approximately 200 hours.
 
The bidder is urged to check the plans and contract provisions carefully. All bid proposals shall be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and all other contract documents. 

Contractors may choose to submit the bids in person at City Hall during normal business hours, however City Hall is likely to be closed to the public, therefore City staff will be available for one hour before the formal bid opening at 2:05 p.m. at the main door of City Hall to provide access to the Finance Department.

Contractors may choose to mail bids; however, City Hall has limited mail processing.  It is the Contractors responsibility to ensure that mailed bids are received and processed through the City’s mail service in time.

Proposals received after said date and time will not be considered.
