Working with Other Local Governments and Community Service Organizations.
The City of Federal Way actively communicates and partners with other local governments as well as coordinates with regional, state and federal government agencies and their representatives. The mayor and City Council meet annually with 30th District State Legislators and staff prior to the legislative session. City officials and staff regularly work with regional, state and federal agencies to support the needs of a growing Federal Way community and the region.

In addition to coordinating with other governmental organizations, the Mayors Office and city partner with many local community service organizations to help coordinate volunteer projects and events.

Entrance sign:

The new entrance sign located at 320th near the I-5 interchange is a valuable tool for allowing the City of Federal Way to share information about upcoming events with its commuting residents and visitors.

The City welcomes the appropriate use of this new information tool to further the goals of the City and the missions of its departments.

Supporting our Veterans

Mayor Ferrell is committed to supporting the men and women who served our Nation in uniform. He understands Vets frustration trying to navigate the many programs offered at both the state and federal level, so we have provided links to local, state, and national veteran service groups and government organizations that focus on assisting Veterans needs.
