Notice: Due to rising cases of COVID-19 in King County and the region and pursuant

to Governor Inslee’s Proclamation 20-28, all City Council, Council Committee, and

Citizen Commission meetings will be held remotely until further notice.

Please note signing up at least one (1) hour prior to the meeting is helpful to staff enabling us to provide you with connection information and tips prior to the meeting.

You will receive directions for how to participate remotely on the day of the meeting using the email address entered when submitting your form.

 

PUBLIC COMMENT - WRITTEN

 

Written comments may be submitted for the following meetings:

  • City Council
  • FEDRAC - Finance, Economic Development, and Regional Affairs Committee
  • LUTC - Land Use/Transportation Committee 
  • PRHSPS - Parks, Recreation, Human Services, and Public Safety Committee 

By submitting comments via email you are requesting the comments be read aloud at the next meeting. Your comments and email address are considered public records and may be disclosed upon request. All written comments must follow Council Rules of Procedure. Please note, anonymous comments will not be read.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

In accordance with State Law, the City of Federal Way prohibits any testimony regarding any campaign for election or promotion of, or opposition to, any ballot proposition during the public comment. City Council Rules of Procedure prohibit any personal, impertinent, threatening or slanderous remarks during public comment.

The Mayor or Committee Chair may interrupt comments that continue too long or violate the rules of conduct. No speaker may convey or donate their time for speaking to another speaker. The Mayor has the authority to preserve order at all meetings of the Council and to cause the removal of any person from the meeting for being disorderly.
