The Federal Way City Council consists of seven members who are directly elected by the citizens for four-year terms. The City Council establishes law and policy by passing ordinances and resolutions. Public comment is welcomed and appreciated during the meetings. 2018 City Council Retreat

The Federal Way City Council held its annual retreat on Feb. 3 at Dumas Bay Centre. The Council and Mayor Jim Ferrell generated a list of forward-looking goals for the City. You can read the complete report from the retreat here.
